minimise or maximise the gluteus
As part of their plan to promote innovation and accessibility on Benidorm's beaches the Community Council have installed half a dozen exercise machines on Levante beach. The idea is that tourists and natives alike can use them to flex their pecs and minimise or maximise the gluteus.
Primarily aimed at elder people – research on over-65's has demonstrated that signs of ageing in muscles appears to be reversed by regular resistance training – the equipment can still be
used by others. It's not really designed for the body-builders amongst us but is perfectly suited to a good all over body exercise programme.
The plan is to install similar equipment on other beaches so that wherever we are on the Costa Blanca we can all be fit as
fiddles.
