As you probably know there are two big fiestas coming up in Benidorm soon. The religious calendar has collided with the secular one to throw up a brilliant week in Benidorm which starts with the
Fallas from 16th and ends with the Easter celebrations on 23rd March.
In preparation for this and planning to meet the extra demand for transport at all hours of the day and night the Council of Infrastructures and Transport has relaxed its laws concerning obligatory
periods of rest for taxi drivers.
An agreement has been reached between the authorities and the taxi drivers' associations that means that from the 15th to the 23rd the entire taxi fleet will be on the road from 22.00 until 06.00
the next morning to ensure that revellers get home safe and sound.
Now that's what we call planning!
