Up for the Cup

We don't often have a chance to see the world's best footballers in down town Benidorm, but this month we do thanks to the luck of the draw in the Copa del Rey. Our very own Benidorm FC has been drawn against the mighty Barcelona in the Spanish knock out competition.

Like the European Cup, the tie is decided over two legs, home and away. Barca come to town on 29th of October and the return leg is on 12th November – right in the middle of Benidorm Fiesta week!

Stop press!!! the game will now be played on 28th October at 21.00.

What a fantastic opportunity for football fans visiting Benidorm to see the stars of La Liga in action. Can we have Real Madrid in the next round please?
