Wireless in Benidorm

connect to T'Internet for free
Laptop users in Benidorm will benefit from the council's new WiFi zone from this Saturday onwards. The whole town hall square - La plaza de Sus Majestades los Reyes de España – will be covered in invisible wireless signals which will enable us to connect to T'Internet for free.
It's the brainchild of the Council for New Technologies and will enable us to keep up to date with what's happening in the outside world. A far cry from the days when we had to rely on 3 day old
newspapers that had no reports on all the best football teams because they were the London editions!
On a more technical note, the WiFi will have an anti-virus system and good news for parents, it also has a filter for violent or pornographic material so the kids can't play Manhunt 2.
Happy surfing Internauts.
