Albir Blue Flag Beach
lots of improvements
Albir beach will once again have the blue flag, which signifies the good quality of the water and installations, flying proudly next to the blue of the sea. Already one of the area's favourite bathing spots the beach has undergone lots of improvements – both on it and next to it – this year.
There are now two new children's play parks, and a central integrated service centre which includes and area for the local police, life savers, a 'biblioplaya' beach library and a rest area for disabled people. Disabled people will also find access to and along the beach much easier thanks to the wooden board-walks along it.
Just off the beach, the 'Promenade of the Stars' is now much more pedestrian and cyclist friendly making a stroll along the prom and alltogether more pleasurable experience.
No wonder it's been awarded the blue flag again!
