You only have to hear me whistling 'Sweet Georgia Brown' to know that the world's most famous basketball team is coming to town. The Harlem Globetrotters will tip-off their tour of Spain with a match in Benidorm on 21^st May before continuing on to Valencia, Madrid, Badalona, Zaragoza and Seville.

The venue is the L'illa Sports Palace where the game will start at 20.30. However, all day there will be lots of special basketball related activities for young and old in the pavillions around the main arena. One of the most popular is sure to be the 'Street Area' where we get to sample basketball with all the nice bits of an urban black ghetto – Djs, Hip Hop and graffiti – and baskets with chain nets!

The Globies have already played over 23,000 games in their 82 year history, and over 128 million people have watched them. You could be one of them in Benidorm this year!
