The hit comedy series Benidorm will soon be back on our screens for a third time and no, it's not another repeat! The production company, Tiger Aspect, which makes the programmes will be back filming a new series towards the end of this month.

All our favourite characters will be back at the Solana all inclusive resort – carpeted almost throughout – for more fun, sex, thongs and Karaoke, but this time with a difference. Viewers will get to see bits of Benidorm they probably didn't know existed like the tapas bars of the old town and nearby places like El Campello and Callosa.

With an average audience of 8 million, around 29% of the viewing population, the show is regarded as priceless publicity by the tourist authorities, especially as it is also shown throughout the English speaking world in addition to Britain. And with a crew of around 100 technicians and actors all requiring food, drink and accommodation for several weeks local tourist businesses are also pleased as punch.
