Benidorm Singles: St. Valentine's Day

You either love it or hate it but St. Valentine's day is upon us once again. This year, around a thousand people will be celebrating the lovers' special day alone together!

A big celebration for single people – Singles San Valentin – has been organised in Benidorm with the blessing of the Valencian Tourist Authority. It'll take place at the Excalibur medieval complex and includes dinner in the 'castle' a visit to the Dungeon of Horror and a disco.

The organisers say that the majority of those with their names down for the weekend are women. Unfortunately I can't be there as I'll be taking my loved one out for a stroll in the country, a big rub on the tummy and a nice chewy bone!
