Belly Busting Beniburger

a crane was drafted in

Benidorm can now boast the world's biggest hamburger after a megaburger weighing in at 350 kilos was made in the town this weekend.

Butcher Enrique Ortolá made the burger in Benidorm football stadium during a three team tournament between Real Betis, Deportivo Tenerife and Benidorm. The giant burger had a 1.8 metre diameter – about the height of a tall man – and was 20 centimetres bigger than the former world record burger.

Because of its sheer size and weight, a crane was drafted in to help prepare the ingredients which were sufficient to make 5000 normal sized burgers and the 1500 spectators at the match were treated to free portions. I wonder what they did with the left overs?
