The Benidorm Book of Records

solved two Rubik's cubes in 76.27 seconds

Remember when the Guinness book of records only contained sensible records like the world's tallest man, or the world's longest beard? Since it started to go 'off the wall' with students cramming into phone boxes and elephants into minis, it's been downhill all the way.

The latest human achievement to find its way into the tome's 44,000 records took place last Friday in the Aqua Natura section of Terra Natura when David Calvo from Bilbao solved two Rubik's cubes in 76.27 seconds.

rubik cube and sharks

Sounds easy doesn't it? Well, when you consider that he was underwater, surrounded by sharks, with a cube in each hand and beat his existing record by 12.35 seconds it puts his achievement into perspective!

Well done David.
