Spotlight and the Volcano

We don't often feature ourselves in our news items but we think people would like to know about the way our clients benefited during the recent volcano ash crisis.

Many of our clients who had booked and paid a deposit for their hotel, apartment or villa accommodation were unable to travel so Spotlight stepped in and gave each and every one of them a full refund. This was also the case with people who'd booked tickets for theme parks and other attractions with Spotlight, they all received their money back.

When people were unable to travel back to the UK Spotlight staff helped them to book further accommodation where they already were, or to find a cheaper alternative as the purse strings tightened.

We've had many mails thanking us for our efforts and the great customer service we gave in this difficult time. Here's what just a couple of them said:-

Wendy West said, “Thank you very much for this. Really disappointed that we cannot be in Benidorm, but cannot be avoided. Will certainly be booking through Benidorm Spotlight again. By all means you can mention me and the great customer care you have given.”

Tony Wilson said, “ I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding that we had to cancel our weekend break at such short notice, and to further say how much we appreciate your prompt repayment of our deposit monies. We most definitely will be booking with you in the future, you have restored our faith in business integrity.”

Spotlight prides itself on its customer care and has a knowledgeable team of travel industry professionals available to help and assist our clients throughout the working day. Let's hope that they're not needed to handle another volcano crisis for a long time.
