It's fiesta time again in Benidorm with a superb mix of entertainment, fireworks, solemn religious processions and fun parades around the town. Sadly there's no free beer in the programme this year, but a few Ricards at mid-day on Monday could make up for that!

The Programme of Events

Friday 11th November
17.00 – Procession around the streets of Benidorm by the Queens and Ladies of the Fiesta.
18.00 – Switch on of the artistic illuminations in Avenida Martinez Alejos, followed by a procession to the exhibition centre (next to the bull ring) to inaugurate the fiesta officially.
22.30 – Big parade in Calle Rufaza
00.30 – Blues and Beatles Night, live music in Calle Tomas Ortuno

Saturday 12th November
12.00 – Aerial Bombardment of fireworks all over town
12.15 – Colourful musical parade around Benidorm's streets
13.00 – Concert in the Town Hall Square by the bands in the parade
17.00 – Re-enactment of the discovery of the Virgin of Suffrage on Poniente beach
18.00 – Solemn procession from Elche Park to the Plaza San Jaime
23.30 – Fun parade with music and partying around the town centre streets to the fiesta marquee in the town hall square
24.00 – Pop rock night with La Mano del Muerto and Lokos de Atar in Calle Tomas Ortuno

Sunday 13th November
08.00 – Aerial Bombardment with loud fireworks and a Reveille 'wake up' musical procession around the streets
10.30 – Procession from the fiesta marquee to the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana
10.30 – Spectacular release of the young bulls in the bull ring (no drunks or u16's allowed!)
14.00 – Super loud fireworks in the Plaza de la Hispanidad
17.00 – Bull jumping competition in the bull ring
17.15 – Concert by the Benidorm Musical Union in Calle Gambo
19.00 – Solemn procession from Calle Mayor to Plaza San Jaime
23.00 – Street Party in and around Calle Asuncion
23.30 – Big fun musical parade from the fiesta marquee around the streets of town
24.00 – Pop rock night with Mirzazaza and Some Noise in Calle Tomas Ortuno
01.30 – Merengue music night in the Plaza de la Hispanidad

Monday 14th November
08.00 – Aerial Bombardment with loud fireworks and a Reveille 'wake up' musical procession around the streets
10.30 – Spectacular release of the young bulls in the bull ring
11.00 – Grand Play area for kids in the town hall square
12.00 – Ricard Fiesta – tasting and presents for all, in the town hall square
12.30 – Band parade around the streets
14.00 – Super loud fireworks in the Avenida Mediterrania
17.00 – Exhibition of Portuguese bullfighting in the bull ring
17.30 – Concert by the Ad Libitum Orchestra in Calle Gambo
19.00 – Solemn procession from Calle Mayor to Plaza de San Jaime
23.00 – Super loud fireworks
23.30 – Top 40 pop concert in Calle Tomas Ortuno
23.30 – All night musical parade through the streets of town
00.30 – Concert in the Julio Iglesias Auditorium with a major surprise group

Tuesday 15th November
08.00 – Aerial Bombardment with loud fireworks at the Plaza del Castillo and a Reveille 'wake up'
09.30 – Procession from the town hall square to the church of San Jaime and Santa Ana for mass
11.00 – Kids' amusements in the town hall square with Ronald McDonald
14.00 – Loud fireworks in the Avenida del Mediterraneo
17.00 – Kids' show, Animalia, in Calle Tomas Ortuno
19.00 – Big fun parade from the town hall square around the streets
23.30 – Live music with the Oxido Orchestra in Calle Tomas Ortuno

Wednesday 16th November
08.00 – Aerial Bombardment with loud fireworks at the Plaza del Castillo and a Reveille 'wake up'
11.00 – Kids' play fair at the town hall plaza
11.00 – Big parade from various streets to the town hall
17.30 – Big parade of floats and carts around town to the Plaza de la Hispanidad followed by a big fireworks display on Poniente beach.
