Despite being the biggest tourist attraction on the Costa Blanca for decades and with a massive influx of visitors every weekend, Benidorm's tourist information offices have never opened on a Saturday and Sunday!

This is all going to change as the head of Benidorm council's tourism department has reached an agreement with staff to man the central office  seven days a week.

No extra staff or costs will be involved as the existing workers will adopt a 'turns' system in which they will work 7 days on followed by a week off to enable the office to open every day.

The office will now open from 10.00 to 17.00 on Saturdays and 08.00 to 15.00 on Sundays and holidays.
