Discover Benidorm on the Water

Boat ride to Calpe

Map Map 03

Beautiful coastal views
Town Centre

The port of Calpe is just one hour's pleasure boat ride away. Enjoy first class views of the cliffs, coastline, and the attractive bay of Altea. If you wish to explore Calpe, a walk along the esplanade will lead you to the town. Or you could just enjoy the port itself with its wide selection of restaurants where fish, naturally, features high on the menus. Boats depart from Benidorm Marina at 11.00 am, and the return journey leaves Calpe at 3.00pm. (This doesn't leave that much time for sightseeing so you might want to take a taxi back). The boat runs all year round, every day except Tuesdays and Sundays.

Benidorm Island

Benidorm Island Take a Submarine Trip!
Town Centre

Take a yellow, sub aquatic catamaran trip to Benidorm Island, 2 kilometres out to sea. No, I didn't know what one of those was either, but apparently it’s like a regular catamaran with an underwater deck where you can see marine life once you've arrived. The island is a conservation haven for a variety of birds, peacocks and hens, so there you have it - something for the twitchers. Trips run every hour, tickets are available from the kiosk at the far end of the quay.
