The Alameda Hotel was recomended by friends.
We were more than pleased with it.
The hotel was spotless, the rooms are small but clean and
were fine to suit our needs.
The hotel is minutes from the beach ,bars, and great little restaurants.
Its in the heart of the old town which is very Spanish, but you are in Spain! So do expect simple spanish food and good service. We do not speak Spanish and have only praise for the locals who had time to explain local foods and drinks to us, we had lots of laughs in the process.
All in all a great find.

this is the 3rd time we have stayed in this hotel, it is popular with the spanish, is very central to all varieties of enteranment. the hotel staff are more than helpful, is veryclose to the beach, and is in an ideal location within the centre of the old town. i would recomend this hotel if you are on a limited budget as the facilities far exceed their rating in my opinion, roll on september to i return to the hotel.

The Alameda is in a really good location in Benidorm - a quiet street with no traffic and right in the heart of the Old Town. It is just a minute's walk from the beach and there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and our room had everything we needed, including a balcony where we could sit in comfort. The roof terrace is perfect for sunbathing or relaxing away from the crowds. Although the facilities are basic rather than luxurious, the Alameda is good value for money and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing we were not happy with was the food as the meals were not very interesting. However, there was always fresh fruit and also a selection of salads, so we managed to find something to eat each evening. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Small friendly hotel, well situated for all that Benidorm Old Town has to offer, food generally on the cooler side of warm with limited choice and catering mainly for the spanish pallet, staff very friendly and approachable, rooms basic but spotlessly clean, on the whole good value for money hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this hotel. Fair to say it's rather basic - small lift and no swimming pool but the staff could not have been more helpful. Our heartfelt thanks to the chef especially, who prepared special meals for me once he knew I am vegetarian, and seem to take pride in the presentation and my appreciation of his efforts.
The Reception staff were also extremely helpful, and it has to be noted that at the weekend the hotel was very lively (our off-season stay began rather quietly) with a large influx of Spanish guests having a nice weekend at the coast. If the local people use the hotel, what better sign of a good hotel do you need.
We will certainly be booking the Alameda again for our stay next time we're in Benidorm.
