Our first visit to Benidorm and what an experience. the hotel was superb. the rooms are a little dated but half of the hotel was being refurbished which will obviously correct that. The staff were excellent as was the entertainment. But the real highlight was the food. The choice and the quality were top class and Christmas Day meal was something to behold. The hotel is in the more lively part of the town which fits in well with the Christmas spirit and yet is only minutes from the Old Town and centre. For the active, a walk from one end of the beach to the other is enjoyable if done at a leisurely pace! Highly recommended. The service from Benedorm Spotlight was also very good !!

we have been to benidorm lots of times, staying in self catering apartments, this year we thought we would treat ourselves to a hotel and picked the ambassador for a weeks break, wow why did we not do it sooner a vey good location with a short walk to the beach , the rooms are spacious and the hotel in general is very clean, what can i say about the food.... AMAZING just about sums it up,you dont need to go far for entertainment either we found the hotel entertainment very good and the bar prices reasonable the down side was a little noise from the bars on the street but was soon blotted out by plugging my ears with a mp3 player.would definatly go again

we had a great holiday the entertainment was very good
the staf were very helpful very clean rooms towels and sheets
changed every day the food was very good plenty of choices
could be a bit noisy on a night but no good going to benidorm if the noise bothers you
the only downside were the sunbeds people were lining up to get a bed with a brolly early the only thing is they were leaving towels on for hours on en when other people could have being using them i think the management at the ambassador should look into this and stop people leaving the beds and disappearing and expecting the same spot wen they return all in all a good value holiday was had x

Nice hotel great location, lovely pool food very good only gripe would be the beds and room was very small, staff were lovely and I would recommend this hotel for couples, families or like myself travelling with friends

Stayed at Ambassador on lots of occasions over last few years. It is always friendly feeling, and waiting staff, especially Head Waiter, always remember you and give first class attention. Food is average but plentiful. The same goes for the rooms, pretty average but always clean and beds comfortable. Pool areas are waiter served also, always kept very clean. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as it's deserving of it's three stars and also in a very good position close to entertainmeant, shopping and beach.
