Spent New Year at the Avenida for the third year running.

Food and service excellent and the entertainment and music in the evening has something for all tastes.

Our only complaint would be that as non-smokers it is difficult to find seats in the bar away from the smoking area. If the smoking area was more screened off it would help. However as virtually every bar in Benidorm seems to permit smoking it is a problem that you appear to have to live with as the interpretation of the no-smoking ban appears vastly differnt in Spain thatn in Britain.

Hotel very nice food good and plenty of choice. Although streets noisy but this was due to xmas cheer and the hotel is in the middle of old town so this was expected. Great location for shops and the old town is certainly the best shopping area. Would go again hotel staff very friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, the ladies definitely enjoyed themselves !!
The other clientele did appear not to be doing so and could barely crack a smile, that said however a really enjoyable stay was had by my party and would definitely return - maybe next year.

Our third successive New Year at the Avenida with its excellent location and again superb value for money. Food and service again excellent and our only regret was that smoking was again being allowed in the lounge area though we understand that steps were going to be taken over the next year to limit the effect of this .

I can recommend The Avenida Hotel for it's excellent location for WINTER holidays,however
I've no experience during Summer Holidays( so a note of caution)
I was fortunate to have a sea view, some overlooked a busy street.
Excellent spacious bedroom and good variety of food.
The staff were not very helpful.They must expect tour operators to sort out any direct enquiries !

Not all rooms have balconies. All we could see from our window was a residential apartment block 20 feet away, so we left our curtains shut for the whole week. Room apart, the food was good as was the location, which was away from the 'British sector'.

enjoyed our stay nice rooms good location to explore the old town food ok but the food station was very small resulting in long queues to serve yourself ran out of soup bowls one evening the staff are very hard worked keeping up with the demands of the diners but are very helpful inall the hotel was clean and friendly from pam price bolton england
