Excellent location, you are in the centre of the old town and a two minute walk to the beach. We had a very big apartment, however there was only one bathroom which had just a shower with no proper screens and only a curtain, which meant that everytime you showered you flooded the bathroom, and sometimes the lounge. Bearing in mind this can sleep six people, that is a lot of mopping up!!! Apart from this we were very happy with our stay. We did go over to see the pool at the hotel and it is tiny!! But who needs a pool when the beach is on your doorstep.

we thought the appartments were very clean and very well situated, as we were six women sharing we were very happy to have two bathrooms,and two bedrooms.we did have to ask for an extra bed as the sofabed was not big enough to sleep two. the staff were only to happy to help.we were on the front of the building so we did get a lot of noise,but we were not there to have early nights so this was not a problem. staying at the avenida was a good choice and we will reccomend you to anyone we know who are going to benidorm.i know we shall return next year.thankyou.

This was our second time at the Avenida Apartments, both times in April. We enjoyed the apartments great location, spacious rooms and the oppertunity to watch the busy thoughfare below whilst relaxing on the balcony. This time we were given a very large room on the 5th floor which had a double size balcony shielded on 3 sides from the wind and perfect for sunbathing!
The apartment itself had a lounge with dining table, sofa bed, tv unit and armchair, kitchen with cooker, microwave, toaster and fridge/freezer, large bathroom with shower over bath and bidet! The bedroom had twin beds, dressing table, bedside table and large fitted wadrobe. We never used the hotel facilities as we prefer the beach through the day and used some of the many local bars and restraunts in the evenings. These apartments are about 15 mins walk to the new town but are in the heart of the old town and are 2mins from the beach! Well worth the money and cheap at that! Will return again. Sarah and Neil.

Very convenient location, especially with new Mercadona supermarket opened close by since our last visit. Enjoyed using the hotel bar, and watching some afternoon activities there (eg line-dancing) - but did not use other hotel facilities (restaurant,gym,pool). Had room overlooking street again (as requested) - very pleasant to sit on balcony and watch street entertainers and passers-by down below, and not too noisy at this time of year. Highly recommended.

Just returned from our second visit to The Avenida Apartments and once again The Staff were friendly and efficient, nothing too much bother, the apartment was great and very clean. We had a 2 bedroomed apartment this time and it was huge with two bathrooms, very handy when you have taken two teenagers with you.
I would recommend you request a street view, as I have done on both visits as they are a great place to people watch and am aware that the apartments on the back do not have very nice views.
The only gripe I have is that you can only manage one shower before they start to run cold, can be a bit inconvenient if there are 4 or more of you in the apartments. Other than this these apartments are a great base, they are clean, staff are friendly, and good value for money as you have access to all facilities of the 4 star Avenida Hotel just across the road which includes a Gym, Jacuzzi and Sauna.
When I return to Benidorm in the Autumn I will be booking these apartments again.

these apartments are in a great location and the apartments themselves were clean and nice BUT.the problem is..there is no where to sit! we had a sofa bed and when one of us wanted to sleep there was no where for the others to sit apart from on the dinning table chairs! and each floor of the apartment share a boiler.i was in the middle of a shower and the water went cold and i was stuck with showergel all over my bits :-( with cold water.i wasn't very happy so i cantacted reception and they said ''i will send someone up'' they did - A MAID WITH 3 PILLOWS!! the staff have bad english.the good thing is when you book these apartments,you get access to the hotel across the road which is a 4 star.i cant comment on food as we never eat at hotel.i saw the hotel pool and its small with everyone staring at you! we went into the hotel for entertainment and the girl who runs it is totally lovely and very nice! i fell in love with her! all in all we enjoyed it.would go back again.heres a tip - if you have old people going with you,its ideal for them because of location.

Stayed here for 5 nights in January 2008.Bedroon was freezing cold at night and also the bathroom.Only heating/air con is in the sitting/dining room.Ended up sleeping on sofa bed to keep warm.Bathroom very tired,needs updating.Limited cooking facilities in kitchen.Patio doors onto balcony did not shut properly,therefore lots of street noise coming in, regardless to say,this impacted on 5 very bad nights sleep.Have stayed in Benidorm before and this was the worst.Good if you dont go to bed before 3am,bad if you are a early sleeper going to sleep around 10pm.Staff very helpful and friendly-and minutes walk to levante beach.Location is excellent,maybe would be good if you get a room at back of hotel

To be honest the room looks better on your site, but then again you get what you pay for and after all the apartments are in a fab position. The Hotel is of a much higher standard I would recommend the hotel to family and friends but I am sorry to say I will not be recommending the apartments they are very tired looking and in desperate need of an update. The full bathroom is a joke as if you were larger than a size 16 you would not be able to actually access the bathroom. As a swimmer we booked the apartments solely to use the pool we were disappointed that the pool was closed. We did however make arrangements with the hotel my parents were staying at and in all honesty will in the future be using that hotel. The reasons being that the decor was more upto date and the feel of the hotel was overall of a much higher standard.

We stopped at the Apartments and booked half board at the hotel. The hotel's location lived up to our expectations.

The food was really good and tasty and there was a good choice.

It was a shame that we didnt find out until we arrived that the hotel pool was closed, which was one of the main reasons for booking the apartment/hotel.

In the apartment it would be nice for guests to have a full list and/or price list of food and drinks available in the Bar/Restaurant of the hotel.

We would recommend the hotel and apartments and would stop there again.

very pleasent staff ,cleaning staff and reception staff all very helpful rooms and kitchen facilities are first class,avenida is in a perfect location and we would recommend it to anyone without hesitation and we will definitely be returning soon

This was our second visit to the Avenida Apartments. We were there in September 2006 and September 2007, following recommendation from a friend. Both visits were for 1011 days. We are also hoping to visit in July 2008 for approx 5 days for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The Apartments have always been extremely clean and comfortable, staff are always very friendly and helpful. It is ideally situated for both the local bars and restaurants and the beach

My husband and I have been to Benidorm many times and three years ago we found the Avenida Apartments.They are perfectly located in the old town between both beaches and we were able to use all the facilities of the Avenida hotel across the road.On our last visit we had a room facing the street and had a wonderful view of the parade celebrating the Moors and Christians Festival.Although the apartments are so central we have never been troubled by noise at night.The staff are very friendly and informative and we will certainly be returning next year.Linda and Tony Mears

the avenida apts were very good we have 3 children age 7 9 10 and they enjoyed staying there the staff were very friendly and helpful also the maid service was very good our apt was 102 it was great seeing all that was happening in the main street all the mimics etc i would go back to these apts without a doubt and it is very central for the beach and shopping we were there in july and would recommend it to families 102 was a great room with a great view if we were going self catering again i would be for sure booking at the avenida apts

Compliments to the Avenida Apartments for their accommodation.

After an initial glitch in the fact that the room was not ready for our arrival, the staff spent a considerable time making sure that the apartment was perfect!

The Apartment was comfortable, and best of all the location is fantastic. A couple of hundred metres from the Levante Beach, and in the heart of the "Old Town".

I would certainly recommend the use of these Apartments!

My wife and I have stayed at the Avenida Apartments a few times. We love the location right in the middle of the Old Town and never find it noisy (we are in our 50s).All the staff are very friendly and most helpful.The apartments are very clean and comfortable, and we hope to continue to visit.

This was my fifth visit to the Avenida, I particularly like its location in the old town of Benidorm. I have always had a very pleasant stay at these apartments, apart from this last visit! We were allocated an apartment at the back of the building, and our only view from our balcony was a brick wall about 6ft away. To make matters worse (much worse indeed), the apartments on either side of us, were occupied by a group of 10 young teenage British louts (5 in each apartment), so you can imaging the noise created, from shouting at each other from their balconies, to excessive bouts of drinking, and all night partying, having returned from the bars at 3-4am each morning. We asked Reception to be moved, only to be told the hotel was full, with no offer to move us, when an apartment became free. With a severe lack of sleep, due to these louts, we were happy to return home!!

In summary, the Avenida is a good base for Benidorm, but please make sure you ask for a street facing apartment, and not one of the back apartments with only a brick wall to look at. And finally - why dont our British louts stay at home where unsociable behavier is acceptable, and let the rest of us have a stress free holiday!

Dear friends, this year was already second when we choose Benidorm and Avenida. Last year 3 weeks and a few weeks ago 10 days. Benidorm is a place for adults that have a mind of youngster. There is so much to do in daylight and nightlife is super. Especially when you speak a little spanish, the service is very good in restaurants and bars. Avenida Apartments is located perfectly, there is nothing negative to say. The personnel always try to do the best they can, its clean and full of young people. This year we had a room to the backyard but the trip was only 10 days, and we did not stay so much in the room. Benidorm palace, Terra Natura, Mundomar, shops, Casino, we dont get tired of them. At the moment we think going there next year again.

try to get work in Benidorm next year too.

Having been to Benidorm on numerous occassions and knowing the area, the Avenida Apts are in the ideal location as we enjoy the Old Town for its bars and restaurants.
The Apts are spotlessly clean, 24hr reception and you have full use of all the facilities of the Avenida Hotel just across the road.
The beach is only a about 2 hundred Mts away.
We will definately be back again.

Avenida Appartments are very well located for the Old town as well as promenading to Levante and Poniente but we esuffered no adverse noise at all except when Barcelona won the European Cup and the whole town went wild with fireworks! The Appartments are fantastically clean, daily room service was discreet but reliable. The balcony was huge and the airconditioning was effective.

Enjoyed the Avenida apartments. In an excellent position - very central in the old town. Apartments are quite basic but very clean with comfortable beds. We had a one room apartment overlooking the main street so we had a good view of everyting going on ( but it wasn't too noisy ). The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We used the Hotel Avenida directly across the street for our breakfasts which were very good at 6 euros per person . I would certainly use these apartments again . Very good value for money

Excellent apartments right in the centre of Benidorm and if you get a balcony over the main street an excellent location. However on this side it can be a bit noisy in the evening and nightime. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with 2 kids (aged 3 and 7) and would recomend apartments to anyone.

We had a lovely time at the avenida,it was a conveniant place for a taste of spain. We found some wonderful tapas bars just around the corner and the beach was just a 2 minute walk away. The staff were excellent and the appartment was spotless.We will be going there again later this year i can recomend it to you AAAA+

We had an apartment on the 2nd floor looking across to the Avenida Hotel. It was light and spacious and very clean. Furnishings were somewhat sparse but beds were comfortable as were the sofa and armchairs. Staff were all pleasant and helpful.Useful laundry on ground floor next to which is an excellent coffee machine, nothing like "coffee machines" at home. Central situation with a full selection of shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate area. Would stay here again. N.B. Make sure you ask for a room with an open outlook; some look into a sort of service area with no view at all.

Good value for money ,fantastic location, Excellent staff. Basic accommodation and would have liked an electric kettle to make tea and coffee!We used the Avenida Hotel facilities accross the road including the bar, a really nice place.Had a nice week ,Thank you.
