The location was perfect right in the centre of shops, bars and restaurants. Very clean and staff very helpful, have not stayed in a better location would highly recommend these apartments.

I stayed here for 4 days in early January 2010, primarily because my mother-in-law was staying in the adjacent Avenida Hotel. The apartments are perfectly serviceable, reasonably priced and right in the centre of the town. There are all the basics for self-catering. The downside is that they are rather noisy, both external noise and paper-thin walls to other apartments. They also smell of smoke and have a drain/cabbage smell in the atrium. The sofa is really uncomfortable. But for the money, you can't really complain!

We have visited Avenida Apartments several times and been very happy with each visit - an apartment with a balcony overlooking Avenida Martinez Aleios is the best although it can be noisy at night.

The Avenida Hotel is just accross the road and everyone makes you very welcome at the poolside, joining in with the various activities or a visit to the bar to watch the shows, both buildings are also kept very clean and there is no shortage of clean towels.

There can be a curious smell in the stairwell at times however, it is contained there and doesn't occur in the appartments.

All of the staff the ladies cleaning the apartments in particular are most jovial and friendly.

Brilliant location, professionally managed high quality apartments. Ideal for those who don't like to be tide down with hotel meal times.
Clean and bright, well equipped, but still recommend people to bring there own electric kettle as the electric hob ring takes an age to boil water. Super modern toaster and microwave in the room. Some of the best shops are just yards from the apartments, seconds stroll to the beach and a couple of minuets stroll to the beautiful old town.

We (family: parents, middle fifty, 3 children, 11-19 years)had a good stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. There is only the most necessary equipment in apartment. There are some noice from the street from people having fun. Perfectly situated in the middel of citylife and shops and only a few minutes walk from the beach.

Initial room was at the back of the appartments and to say I was dissapointed would be an understatement, however we were moved with 3 days to go.

There is still a terrible smell of cooking cabbage in the hall way, what is this?

We (me and my mom)got an apartment with two bathrooms, streetview and two big bedrooms. Avenida has a perfect localization in the old town. Each morning we saw children going to school. In the evenings there were many grown ups in the streets. Will come back.

Apartments and Hotel close to most of the best restaurants

Arrived at the Avenida Apartments and they had no knowledge of my booking. Had to wait an hour or so whilst it was sorted out. Not a good start.
The room I was provided with was clean and spacious enough and had all the necessary facilities. However , the balcony to the apartments looks out to a brick wall and you can just about see the sun if you crane your neck upwards.I would not stay in the apartments again unless I was provided with a balcony overlooking the street.The hotel across the road has a pool and jacuzzi on the roof , restaurant and bar together with entertainment on most days and nights and can be used by those staying at the Apartments.A bit of a hike to the action in the centre ( mainly British) but the old town is very Spanish and is superb.

Excellent, very large 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms. Some noise at night, but worth putting up with for the location-right in the heart of things and just a stroll from the beach.

This is my second stay at the Avenida, and was in a 2 bedroom appartment.
At the time of stay there was roadworks going on around the main entrance.
On arrival my mother had a fall on the steps, due to the roadworks. It was days later that we knew there was a safer back entrance, so a notice about this on the front entrance would have been helpful.
One the whole we enjoyed are stay.
The Avenida is in an excellent position, close to the shops and seafront.
The rooms are clean, spacious and well equiped, and we had constant hot water and plenty of clean towels.
I would recommend the Avenida to couples and families wanting a quiet central stay.
I will be going back to the Avenida next year.

we stopped at the apartments and found that the walls where that thin we could hear everything are next door people were saying , then around 2-30 in the morning was the continule people coming in banging doors to get in and shouting as far as us stopping at these apartments again that is a deffo NO

rooms great however the one my two daughters were sharing with the baby had a funny smell a bit like damp. with the windows open it cleared but couldnt leave them open with a 18month old running about. staff were helpful heating was fab and needed the week we were there.Roadworks a bit of a nusiance getting in and out of the apartments front door and it was'nt until halfway through our week we found out there was another exit/entry much more suitable for buggies etc.our rooms were to the back of the apartment block not a good outlook but quiet.The apartment my daughters had was huge plenty space for the baby to run around and more than enough room in the besdroom for two beds and a cot.The cot was clean and fresh.would reccommend to others and would stay here again location was great.
