Without doubt, the Hotel Canfali is the best in Benidorm if you want the full Spanish. Excellent views from the balcony rooms, spotlessly clean and the service from all the staff is excellent. The food is OK, but being so close to tapas alley et al, there is so much choice. A smattering of the local language is an advantage, but the Hotel is in Spain after all. Not the kind of place for the average Brit abroad, as there are very few facilities, but the hotel is the oldest in Benidorm and allows you to the best of both worlds. We will definately only ever use this hotel in Benidorm in the future.

Friendly, helpful staff at the hotel and our room No.3 could not be beaten for view and amenities. The food at the hotel is adequate but not imaginative but when you see the neon advert outside the hotel as 'Buffet for 8 euros' what can you expect. However as much wine as you want is included with lunch and dinner. The hotel was populated by mainly Spanish holiday makers and whilst very friendly were quite noisey. The hotel is ideally situated for the delights of the old town.
