A perfect holiday. Friendly staff and a wonderful selection of very well presented food.
The Spa complex (use of which was subject to additional charge) did not have changing rooms and it was necessary to change in the toilets.
We were unhappy about dogs being allowed in the hotel bedrooms and lifts.
We would not hesitate in using the hotel again.

O hotel tem muito boa localização, pois tal como está muito perto da praia, também tem de tudo nas imediações.
A comida é muito boa e muito variada, e a todo o staff era bastante simpático. Gostámos bastante.
As queixas resumem-se ao seguinte: a hora de termino do pequeno almoço é muito cedo(10.00h)e a partir dessa hora já não entra ninguém; a zona do solário envolvente das piscinas tem muito poucas sombras ou nenhumas a certas horas. É insuportável ficar muito tempo fora de água; penso que a decoração e os materiais nos quartos, deveriam em algumas circunstâncias ser renovados.
No geral, devo dizer que saímos bem satisfeitos com a estadia. Talvez voltemos...

We have stayed at the Diplomatic before and knew it was closed for some time or refurbishment,therefore were surprised that we did'nt recopgnise any refurbishment.

It's real plus point is the central location close to the old town making it an ideal place to stay.

Food was reasonable without any real pleasant surprises the swimming pool areas are modest and dissappointing compared with other 4 star hotels in Bendiorm. Persoannly I had problems using the garage every day as the key card reader failed to work. On one day we had 4 cars all trying to get out but none of the keys worked. Reported it directly to hotel.

Would I stay again, possibly given it's location,but have others that I think are better.

We had a most enjoyable time at the Hotel Diplomatic. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is kept very clean. The food was very varied, something for everyone. Food area's spotless as was the tables and cutlery. maybe the terrace's could do with a hose down. I would definately reccomend this hotel.

The Diplomatic Hotel was just as good as it looked. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was tasty, plentiful and for those vegetarians amongst us there were plenty of choices.The staff were helpful and pleasant and smiled alot.My only concern was the reception, staff were not as helpful and our passports were left on the side in full view of everyone. On our 2nd day we asked for them to be returned to us as we were worried that they were not be held in a secure place.

Should we return to Benidorm again then we would certainly stay at this hotel and also recommend it to others.

The Diplomatic was a first class hotel. We were there over the Christmas period and we couldnt fault it.On entering the hotel we were given a glass of cava to welcome us.Whilst the entertainment could have been a bit better ,this being Christmas as well, the food more than made up for that. The Christmas dinner was served with regimental precision all hot and it tasted delicious. For the rest of the time the buffet was more than any gormet could want.The staff were more than helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them.all in all a very nice break for the Christmas period.

Fantastic service,extremely friendly staff and exceptional food.

The hotel was clean,well positioned and the rooms spacious with adequate warbdrobe and storage space. I particularly liked the fridge in the room.

A thouroughly enjoyable stay!
