This was our second stay in Les Dunes and once again, it was outstanding. The service is first class and manners of the staff exemplary. It is indeed a beautiful hotel and ideally situated for our needs whilst holidaying on The Levante Beach as we have been doing since 1978. Constructive comments on further improvement would be that the breakfast menu could be enhanced by the tomatoes/beans/mushrooms etc... as there is currently no side selection such as these, a "free" sauna and also, we requested the top floor (22) 8 months prior to the holiday but were allocated the 11th floor.

THIS WAS OUR SECOND VISIT THIS YEAR. ONCE AGAIN WE ENJOYED OUR VISIT. THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD, IF A LITTLE LIMITED, AND THE STAFF WERE VERY ATTENTVE AND HELPFUL. THE REAL ADVANTAGE OF THIS HOTEL IS THE SPACIOUS SUITES AND THE WONDEFUL VIEW.

Probably the best location in Benidorm. Comfortable spacious apartment. Just at the beach, but only two minutes walk from the entertainment facilities. Professional staff. Decent food. To be the four star hotel Comodoro needs only some investment in the bathrooms. Perfect for families as well as for the pensioned people.

If you get a full sea view room-there are 4 rooms on each floor -on the front of the building-terrific-but the 2 side rooms on each floor are like cells.
Room was clean, tidy and fittings not bad.Maid service was adequate-just bed-making and a quick hoover. The worst thing was the food-very poor selection for a buffet breakfast and if something had gone by the time you got there-hard luck!!!
Fanatastic location, right on the promenade and really peaceful and quiet at night. It is only three star and the majority of guests seem to be Dutch or German.Nice indoor pool and it`s own carpark-a real bonus in Benidorm.Hotel guests get a discount in the main bar and the food served there is o.k.

Nice hotel, rooms comfortable and spacious, with lovely sea views. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Buffet style restaurant, food could be a little more varied, although the gala dinner on the 24th December was excellent.
With regards to the entertainment, perhaps a little more varied music for dancing, but on the whole a pleasant relaxing setting. The hotel seems to have a large number of Dutch visitors, and while I have not problem with that, it needs to take all nationalities into consideration. Having said that, we had a lovely time there, and I would certainly return to the same hotel again.

We were greeted by a friendly receptionist, the checking in took only a few minutes. The rooms here are excellent, all are junior suites so you get a nice lounge with comfy chairs, a kitchenette with a kettle and a microwave, bedroom with loads of wardrobe space and a shower room. Also a huge balcony where you can sit and gaze out to sea over Levante beach. We were on the twelfth floor this time, with the bedroom window ajar we could hear the sea but no other noticeable noise. The central heating was on and was very efficient. The staff in the restaurant and bar were pleasant and helpful, and the Gala dinner on Christmas Eve was excellent; six courses but not at all rushed. Other meals, served buffet style, were also good, plenty of choice, crisp fresh salads, meats and fish dishes. Breakfast offered English and continental options, including freshly made churros, which every visitor to Spain should try! The hotel is right on the promenade, with Levante beach stretching out in front of it. Good for walking either way for shops, bars etc, and only a few minutes from the cabaret bars for nightlife. Nice touches were a bowl of fruit and a half bottle of red wine in the room on arrival, and a little present of two coffee-scented tealights in holders to take home. On checking out we were wished a safe journey home, the receptionist asked if we had enjoyed our stay and we were able to honestly say we had a great time.

THE FOOD WAS A LITTLE MIXED, THE CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER WAS GOOD, CHRISTMAS DAY WAS REALLY POOR AND BOXING DAY WAS EXCELLENT. BREAKFASTS WERE GOOD APART FROM NO COOKED FOOD BEING READILY AVAILABLE, ONE HAD TO ASK TO GET IT. IN ALL PRETTY POOR. HOTEL ITSELF AND STAFF REALLY GOOD, LOCATION COULD NOT BE BETTERED.

The hotel Les Dunes Commodoro is absolutely superb. My wife and I had a terrific time and will certainly use the hotel again. The service and facilities were truly exceptional although I was a little surprised at having to pay extra for a sauna. All in all though, the hotel is in a terrific location and is extremely comfortable. Benidorm Spotlight, through whom we made the booking and have used several times are also a joy to deal with. Roll on our next visit. Many thanks.
