Everything in the apartment was basic but we had everything we needed. Had to laugh at the layout of the kitchen as there were plug sockets on the wall but no worktop to stand the kettle on! Had to stand it on a dining chair.
The bar downstairs is an old favourite because the prices are so cheap, I've been going in there a few years now and the staff are so friendly.
We had a room on the 13th floor so had excellent views but the lift is so small and slow I would ask for lower floor next time and use the stairs.

I would stay at the Mayra again for a cheap and cheerful holiday.

I lived in benidorm for 2 weeks.went back with my elderly farther for a weeks holiday,choose these appartments by the internet,was a bit worried incase they was not up to much ie noise,dirty,on a hill,but what a pleasent surprise,rooms spotless,area fantastic,and the people who run them cant do a enough for you reaaly nice people,also good cafe in the block,i'd reccomend these appartments all the time

We visit Benidorm at least once a year and this is the 5th or 6th time we have stayed at the Mayra appartments. It was nice to find that our appartment (and we assume all the appartments) had been refurnished as this was badly needed. The apartments,although basic,are clean and tidy and the most economical we can find in Benidorm. Our only complaint would be that the kitchen lacks work surfaces and the only electrical socket is located in an impossible position for the provided toaster and kettle. Having said that we were only there for breakfast as all other meals we ate out. Overall we would recommend the Myra to anyone as they are good value for money and well located for the new end of town and it´s various attractions

Excellent value for money. The rooms are basic but always clean and the housekeeper, Ramona, is fantastic!!!

The apartments are in an excellent location for just about everything in Benidorm!!!!

We love it!!

Apartments were very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed.
Thought the pool was quite small on arrival but it did not become an issue whatsoever over the holiday. Not really a place to take children as full of groups of same sex people. Hen Do's etc. Close to the night life and a short walk to the beach. Perfect for a group looking to have fun which we did. Will be booking again for next year.

Been going to the Mayra apartments twice a year since 2008 and i wouldnt stay anywhere else, The staff are friendly, The apartments have everything you need and a pint for 1 euro downstairs in the bar was great value.

I wouldnt reccommend it as a family place though as there is always loads of stag and hen doos, I go back there in september and cant wait

Good apartments,nice and clean and well furnished.
Friendly staff and well placed not far from beach and bars etc.

Bit noisy in the morning as by the main road but most of Benidorm is noisy anyway.
We were a party of 4 single people and these apartmetns were ideal. Would return again without a doubt as excellent value for money.

We were in Mayra apartman for 32 days, we had very good times there, and we were very satisfied. Price was perfect for us. During Easter was the higher price, but we expect it.
I recommend this app for everbody, who likes Benidorm.Next year we will be back there :-)

I have just come back from a weekend staying at the Mayra Apartments with 9 female friends for a 40th Birthday.

I really wasnt expecting much as we only paid £9 per night! The location is perfect for the nightlife, beach, shops, restaurants etc. I believe all rooms have a pool view balcony.

Fully equipped kitchen with toaster, kettle, cooker, fridge, freezer etc. Not that you needed to cook in the room as the hotel snack bar is cheap. 1 Euro 60 for 2 pieces of toast, butter, jam and tea / coffee. Beer 1 euro a bottle.

We booked in for 4 nights (as that was the minimum) although we only ever intended to stay for 2 as we were only there for the weekend. No hassle at all getting our deposit back - they didnt even check the room.

This is an excellent place to say with a gang of friends but I wouldnt choose this one if I was reurning with my family. Simply because it is full of "same gender" parties. None of them were rowdy during our stay.

Altogether a fabulous choice of destination and accommodation! I would definitely return again with friends.

I stayed at these apartments with a group of 5 friends, i was amazed by the size of the apartments although only having one bathroom between 6 was a hard struggle, however i only booked for 4 and another two friends were added late on. The place is definately just for groups of friends/stags/hens & birthdays and really not suited to families. We had a ball and the wee lady who cleans or owns them was very nice to us althouh i think another group had issues with her, we could not fault her. I would definately stay there again and recommend if you want a good laugh these are the apartments for you.

had a nice time at these apartments pity about the weather as we had thunder storms both weeks would recomend them for location as they are near shops and bars.caretaker samone was very nice and helpful would book with them again

We stayed for the first time at the Mayra Apartments for 1 week April 09. If you want a cheap very basic apartment this is where to stay. But they are well overdue a refurb.The Porter was very hepful if you need any advice. If you want bedding / towel change this is at an extra charge. they do have a safe this was 12euro + 6 deposit. The bar serves basic meals, but the food / bar prices was good value.The heating when it got a little cold at night was a portable electric radiator, but done the job. They seem to cater for groups and they can be a bit noisy.
Would stay again, but only if we was unable to find anything else.

We have stayed at the Mayra appartments 4 times. The accommodation is basic and a bit tatty and could do with upgrading, however we have always found them clean and comfortable. Also they are the cheapest apartments we have found in Benidorm and their situtation is ideal for all the nightlife.

stay in the mayra for a week very clean but not enough facilties no where to plug kettle we had to use plug near sink not very safe.would go back there as all shops and buses were very handy.
