Nice hotel and friendly staff, the food was fine. Facilities were good & the cleanliness excellent. The bar prices reasonable. The only thing was the hill to climb to get to the hotel as we are in our 60's it took a bit of time but we got there. A sign at the Pig & Whistle half way up the hill calls it cardiac hill! well named. Over all a very happy stay and would go again!

I HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM A WEEK IN THE MONT PARK AND HAVING READ EARLIER REPORTS ,FELT I NEED TO RESPOND. THIS IS A GOOD 3 STAR HOTEL IN A PERFECT LOCATION WITH A PUB.CHEMIST.ENGLISH SHOP AND BUGERKING/MACDONALDS ALL ABOUT 30 SECONDS FROM THE ENTRANCE.The beach is 2 minutes away and the nightlife 10.The rooms are clean ,the bathroom is spoltless and comes complete with hairdryer, shower gel and towels.AIRCO is provided at no extra cost although is switched off for a while in the afternoon. The telly is provided free also. The food is hot although perhaps a little overcooked but that is probably for heath reasons. the coffee is terible except for the automatic machine which breaks down regularly. There is a full breakie in the morning although everything is cooked in oil .when you consider that full board costs about 5 pounds more than b&b then it is fantastic value.Even the single room supplement is reasonable.
The bar sells apint for 2 euro which is cheap and the pool is cleaned everyday.
ALL in all this hotel offers fantastic value and will be my choice in october and xmas.
The hotel is situated half way up a small hill and is no problem.Older people may find it a little bit tiring but it really is not that bad.One word of warning and that is do not under any circumstances use the exchange shop at the bottom of the hill. ITS a rip off and will cost you dearly.Use the tabbaco shop on mediterainian avenue or sheilas in the market
.

If there was ever a case for getting exactly what you paid for, this hotel is it! The hotels position apart from a slightly steep hill is absolutely ideal being a two minute stroll to the beach, and about ten minutes walk to the best Benidorm has too offer. The hotel when we were there appeared to be patronised predominantely by the spanish with the usual light mix of Dutch and Germans which we found amiable and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff spoke little english indeed the day we arrived I had diffuculty making myself understood at reception, but we muddled through with the usual selection of hand gestures and nods the receptionist was helpful and patient. If you arrive in a car expecting to use the hotels carpark be warned it is no more than a gated L shaped lane and usually full! The cleanliness in the hotel and its rooms is excellent although the fitments and decor are antiquated and tattered round the edges. We were half board and the selection and quality of food at breakfast and dinner was good considering your eating from troughs!Did'nt have a single bad meal! There are two lifts in the hotel and seven floors, the lifts are ridculously small holding no more than four adults sqaushed together, one broke down for two days.Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing stay but remember everything here appears to be geared towards the spanish holidaymaker including the food and may not suit everyone.Richly deserves its three stars, value for money no,what you pay for yes.Would go again.

This is my 4th visit to this hotel, it is well deserving of its 3 stars, it is basic but the rooms are always kept clean and tidy and is an ideal base for those short winter/early spring breaks as the costs are extremely reasonable for a B&B stay. It has all your usual amenities like a hotel bar ideal for meeting in and an outside swimming pool and terrace to enable you to catch those rays.
But why lounge by the pool as the hotel is ideally situated for the beach just a short stroll down a relatively steep hill which some may find a bit daunting on the return journey. The main centre/nightlife is about a 15 minute walk away, but there plenty of other bars and eateries in the surrounding area.
The only thing to be aware of is, if you are there during any of the festivals then you may experience a bit more noise/hustle and bustle in the hotel, but nothing on the scale of any
18-30's hotel or the like.

The room I was allocated was very small but clean and adequete. At times there was no one on reception, and the cleaner had to find my room key. There were also some very disruptive guests who kept me awake at night. As I travelled alone I coped but families would have suffered.

I have stayed at the Mont Park Several times as a single traveller, enjoying the staff hospitality. Once or twice, when a single room was unavailable, the team on duty accommodated me if a double room was vacant . I think this is a true sign that a hotel has great Management and staff working as a team to maximise the earning potential of the hotel for the good of everyone.Hotel is within easy walking distance from nightlife and Levante beach.Approach to hotel is an inclined road

We stayed at the Mont Park late September 2007, the hotel is about fifty metres up a fairly steep hill so is not ideal for people with mobility problems.the hotel itself is really showing signs of age, and could do with a facelift. On arrival we were almost completely ignored at reception. The queues for the restaurant were ridiculus sometimes taking 20 minutes or more to get seated head waiter directed you to a table. The food itself was always good, kept hot.The cutlery crockery was spotless,as was rest of the restaurantThe entertainment was poor quality. Our room was quite large, but a bit basic, the beds were of good quality no springs digging in your backbut they were a bit firm.the t.v was small and didnt even have remote control, the cleaning again was of a very high standard.we had a room overlooking the pool and had sunshine on the balcony most of the day. In a nutshell if you are looking for a nice clean hotel in a quiet location, near to the beach and nightlife, and can wind down enough to take your time for meals, then the Mont park could be for you.On a personal note we have stayed in over 20 different hotels in Benidorm 3Star 4star. over the years and we would definitely stay here again. Basic room and facilities, but perfect if all you need is somewhere to sleep and hang your clothes, which I did. Rooms were small, but reaslistic in the price I paid. I would stay there again, but would not take the family due to the small rooms and basic facilities.

We have just returned from a week's half board holiday at the Mont Park.rnWe have had a brilliant time. The rooms were basic but clean, and the food was excellent with lots of choice, rnalthough the dining room could be a bit chaotic at times and you jumped the queue at your peril !rnThe one and only beverage machine was woefully inadequate with long queues forming for tea and coffee.rnHowever the staff were friendly and helpful.rnThe location of the hotel was superb with only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and entertainment areas, although wheelchair users would find the short but steep hill to the hotel a major problem.rnI would recommend the Mont Park and would go again.

Well, just got back from this hotel and i must say,i quite enjoyed it.The food was fine but chips most days got a bit much.I found most of the staff very nice especially the cleaners who were really friendly. One negative thing i feel i must add is that on my stay there were no english people in the hotel, only spanish and german who i must say in all honesty i found very ignorant. This hotel is ideally situated so close to the beach, cafes and shops, within walking distance to the pubs too so no complaints there. The hotel is situated on a steep hill, dont expect your coach to drive up there as it drops u off on the bottom of the street which i wasnt very happy about.Id definitely go back there though as it is a lovely clean, well run hotel.

Stayed at the Mont Park Hotel in Benidorm for nearly a week. Hotel was lovely and very clean and very close to the beach, but up a small steep hill...so beware if your less mobile than others. The staff were not very nice to UK visitors. It was like they want your money but not you. I particularly did not like the resteraunt manager as he thoroughly embarressed me by moving me to a different table on my fist entry in to the dining room. How was i to know you had to wait to be seated? There was no staff at the door or sign!!!! Due to this embarresment i missed quite a few meals and considering i was on my own and fulll board i feel quite cheated. So pease beware, this is a lovely hotel but as a Brit you will not be made welcome with open arms. If i stay there again it is only because it was very cheap and the food (that i did have) was very good and piping hot.

We found the Hotel to be friendly clean and well run, two of our party where o.a.p's one 79 the other 84 found the walk up the hill to the hotel a bit of a problem. The food was very good and varied every day with plenty of fruit etc.The rooms were cleaned every day and had the sunshine every afternoon on the balcony(we were on the 7th of seven floors)The entertainment in the hotel was not to our taste but downtown Benidorm was only 50 yards down the hill.We found the staff to be good, friendly and very helpfull. Thanks to all for a good week.

We flew down from the UK to join our parents who were staying at the Mont Park for a few weeks. The hotel is not in the "Rating" bracket that we normally stay in but we were pleasantly surprised.
Accommodation is functunal and typical of this type of hotel. Hotel and rooms very clean. The food was actually very good with a very varied choice. Staff very friendly and the size of the hotel gave a sense of a family run enterprise. Close to beach and bus/taxi points if one wants to travel further afield.
Overall very good value for money and I would recommend.
