Went for short break, liked the Poseidon Playa the location was out the hustle of Benidorm town but only a short walk to get there when we wanted to. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were helpful and probably because the hotel was not too busy there was never a problem queuing for meals or getting served at the bar. Would we go back there again? Yes definately!

comfortable, clean rooms and friendly staff, good entertainment, good selection of quality food at meal times . The only complaint was a general one of noise which is usual in hotel rooms. We would use the Posiedon Playa Hotel again

We had a lovely stay at the Poseidon Playa over New Year. We had a triple room which was ok,great that my 15 year olds bed had its own little alcove so he had his privacy. The only trouble was it was very uncomfortable as it felt like the springs were coming through. He's quite light too! It was very clean infact the cleaners were excellent, especially as we didn't leave the room until lunch time each day,it was still cleaned and we always had fresh towels if needed. It was lovely to have a mixture of nationalities at the hotel, infact there weren't many Brits at all which for us was good as we like 'foreign holidays' not home from home! The food was excellent and plentiful.New Years eve was wonderful. The food and drink were all included in the price and was very good. We had champagne at mid-night and were given a lovely pot with 12 lucky grapes. They even celebrated again at 1 am for the brits that were staying in the hotel. The entertainment on the other nights in the hotel was generally good, and there was a good entertainment program during the day, but this wasn't supported very well. I must say I was dissapointed with the dance lesson it only lasted 10 minutes! Apart from that it was all very good. One thing I would say though is at this time of the year it is not brilliant for teenagers as there is a lot of oldies staying in the hotel.Infact our son was the only youngster there!and next to him at 48 I was probably the youngest!

for the second year running we had a wonderful xmas at this hotel the greeting we got from Floyd at the front desk on our arrival made us feel so welcome & that was a great start.the food both quantity & quality is second to none at the hotel & we couldnt fault the service in the dinning area.our only complaint once again is leveled at the entertainment in the evening having seen the fashion show knife thrower & the same poor organist on several occassions before at this hotel surely they can provide something better.however the rest of the hotel pleases us so much we will definately be going back again, the poseidon playa is really worth the money

this hotel is brilliant i have been every year for the past 13 years i love it there. i know the staff since ive been there a few times and they are all very friendly great entertainment during the day they have games for the children and for the adults. entertainment isent that good on a night it is basically based on spanish and older people like 40 and above. the maids are brilliant they have the rooms cleaned every day and by the way u shud leave a tip for them as they work very hard. the shops are very close just round the corner. the beach is a 2 min walk. the life guard around the pool is nice he always makes sure you are safe and to stop people from getting silly. there are 4 lifts small but they are just lifts. there is a games room with computers in their along with a pop corn machine. old town is just about a 15 mins walk and if you want a taxi it dosent cost that much just about 5 to 6 euros. the food is very nice there en all you have plenty to chose from like salad ribs bread fish shrimps steaks and much more. i really enjoyed myself there and i plan to go there again its really nice and friendly.

Rooms very clean, weather not so good but could still go to the beach most dsys. Busy road opposite hotel but traffic lights just opposite hotel. New pavement being constructed but far enough away not to spoil holiday. Food typical spannish so go to blackpool if you want pie and chips. Food ample and good enough for a 3 star hotel. We had 3 kids, 2 in adjacent room. Balcony a worry as couldnt lock door.Would recommend hotel and choice of half board excellent value. If you want 4 star facilities go to a 4 star hotel.

Thought the hotel was very nice indeed, the cleaniness was to a high standard, with plenty of clean towels put into the room each day, the food was good as well with a variety, would definetly recommend.

been to this hotel a few times always had a great time a bit off the beaten track but thats what is nice` the beach is lovely theres great sea views and no yobs in sight there are plenty of games during the day and the staff are very friendly the hotel is very clean and the food is very good there are only four lifts but it only gets hard to get one at meal times although every time i have been i have stayed on the 16th floor and never had any real problems the night time entertainment is aimed at the over sixties and spanish but i dont go to benidorm to stay in hotel every night its only 5 or 6 euros in a taxi to get to all the night life or a 15 min walk to the old town where theres plenty to do besides i think u will find the entertainment the same in every hotel they also have very keen life guards which stops the kids messing around and keeps them safe it also stops the adults from getting silly in the pool when they have had to much to drink all in all a great place to stay and we will be going again
