Stayed here mid january , had a lovely relaxing time , couldnt fault hotel , clean , friendly and lovely view from balcony , bit quiet at this time of year but i expected that so was happy , although about a 40 min walk to the action u can nip on a bus just round the corner for a few euros into the bar areas , some nice bars however near to hotel and worth a scout about here as some nice food places as well , overall would return , loved the hotel and surrounding area .
good job Torre Dorada .

Ideal Short Break

We have just returned from a 3 night break at the Torre Dorada and can recommend the Hotel as an ideal base if you prefer something quieter than the Levante Hotels
Hotel was only about 1/3 occupied but this did not spoil our break
Please be aware that the hill up to the Hotel might be a problem for some people

Excellent hotel at an unbeatable location at the quiet La Cala beach and near the Finestrat bay. We got a room with panoramic seaview at the 11th floor. Fantastic! Mostly spanish guests staying at the hotel in July- all very friendly. A slightly let down: the buffets, but Ok taken the full board price into consideration. Will definetly be back next year.

We had a lovely time in the Torre Dorada this last June 2009.
Although predominently Spanish we were made to feel welcome by staff and other holiday makers alike.
The receptionists , entertainment officer , and all restaurant and bar staff couldn't have been more helpful .
The only downside was the food , there was nothing at all wrong with it but because it was mainly Spanish people it was more geared to their taste . They did make the effort with english dishes but they were not quite the same as would have been in an English hotel

All in all I would recommend the Torre Dorada to anyone wanting a traditional spanish hotel in a lovely quite area which is near to La Cala , The Pontiente beach and within a short bus ride of Old Town Benidorm and the Levante

Hi Everyone,

I highly recommend Torre Dorada Hotel those holiday-makers who's looking for a more quiet
time with great facilities , excellent food and great location on affordable price range.

We were there in October and The customers of the Hotel were mostly older Spanish people and some Dutch , probably because it was not high season. I loved the location of the Hotel its on the Hill right next to the sea its gorgeous
view. Only disadvantage of the Hotel is that the center is kinda far away (like 15 min by Bus) but Bus runs pretty often to the center)
and in my opinion the best beach in Benidorm is just by the Hotel so if you wanna enjoy the Beach stay there! anyway we had a good time and recommend the hotel to Everybody

LA ESTADIA "FENOMENAL", realmente se merecen uN APLAUSO, fue como estar en casa. Una critica constructiva:a los de la recepcion les falto un poco mas de simpatia y agilidad en la atencion, ya que hubo una gran incongruencia entre el recibimiento y humor de los animadores, los del bar en la planta de abajo, realmente muy divertidos y encantadores y a los de la cocina ni mencionar que se las ingeniaban para q se nos pasara el mal genio si habia q esperar un poco mas sobre todo a la hora de la cena.Por eso o amplien el restaurante o las horas q nos dan para cenar o no admitan tanta gente con ese servicio incluido(eso si la comida EXQUISITA).Una ultima cosita"el aparcamiento" si ya estamos pagando antes por los dias q nos quedamos designen un sitio especifico para cada cliente con el num de matricula para no estar pendientes de en que lugar hay sitio, seria mas comodo para nosotros y ahorrarse quejas ustedes.
Pero bueno, la animacion, la comodidad de las instalaciones, la limpieza y lo cerca que estan de la playa compensa lo malo, asi que SIGAN MEJORANDO y a los nuevos clientes a pesar de estos detalles mencionados LA RELACION CALIDAD PRECIO ESTA BIEN, nosotros seguro q los visitamos de nuevo la prox temporada....

Great Hotel, wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Have stayed there 3times now as a base for a cycling holiday. Hotel is clean and the variety and quality of food on offer was excellent.

My wife and I stayed at Torre Dorada following a recommendation.And we were not disappointed.The staff are lovely,they are very friendly,they can`t do enough for you.Our stay was only B & B,the usual buffet style, hot & cold food with cereal.We decided to have an evening meal one night and for 12 euros each,you can`t go wrong,a bit dissapointed that it was cold but there is a microwave,but a good range of choice of buffet.The rooms were clean & spacious with a great balcony and views are spectacular if you are looking out to sea,there is no fridge in the room but room service is good.It was quiet when we were there (April) but it was still a quiet period, nice size pool & there was always some kind of entertainment.It is at the top of a hill, but a slow stroll up is not to bad,the buses are great,every ride is 1 euro and will take you into Benidorm where the night life is if that is what you want.A taxi back to the hotel will not be expensive,It is a great hotel & location if you want the peace & quiet and I would say not a hotel for youngsters who want the all night life, but for families and couples who respect other peoples maturity.If you are driving, be aware the hotel car park is not free,you have to pay a daily rate.If you don`t have transfers to the hotel it will cost you between 60 - 75 Euros in a taxi.I recommend you book resorthoppas.com, they are considerably much cheaper. In all I thoroughly recomend this hotel and I have booked up to go back very soon

Gostamos dos dias que passamos no Torre Dorada. O pessoal do hotel e simpatico, as instalacoes sao agradaveis, a comida e boa e so a animacao foi um pouco repetitiva. A praia e agradavel e a agua esteve sempre com uma temperatura optima, tal como a da piscina.

We have recently returned from our stay at Torre Dorada....This was our second stay and we will definately be staying there again. It is ideally sited for us as we like peace and quiet in the day and it is only a bus ride, 1 euro, away from night life. The beach is great at poniente end, never over packed. Coffee at YAGO not to be missed!!! Finestrat is only 15 mins walk and ideal for a bite to eat and to chill out at small bay.

My wife and i stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and found it to be excellent value for money. We are pleased to say we had an equally enjoyable stay this time as well. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean, we were on half board and the choice of meals was first class. We would not hesitate to visit again.

I have stayed at this Hotel before. I think it is extremely good. It is clean the staff are exceptionally polite and helpful and the food is the best I have had in Spain. Such a wide choice and everything piping hot. It is a nice area and was very quiet at night. The view from our bedroom window was unsurpassable. I brought my friend who has never been to Benidorm before and she was very very happy. The entertainment was very good but it was a shame there were not more people there to enjoy it.

The only disappointment for me with the holiday and this is nothing at all to do with the Hotel and Imerely make it as a comment, was the Benidorm Palace. I have been there several times but i feel it is nowhere near as good as it used to be. However that is nothing to do with the Hotel.

I hope to be staying in the hotel again next year.

Incidentally the Hotel did not have any notification of our booking from you when we arrived.

Good, well-run family-style hotel. Excellent food. Good location for beach (altho uphill on return so perhaps difficult for the elderly people). Friendly, helpful staff. Shame about the noise from construction site opposite, but didn't start until 8am so that was somewhat considerate.
